Time to Catch my Breath

... but only briefly!!  :)

The Stuck?! Sketch is up today, so if you are in need of a little push (and even if you're not), why not head over for a little look see... :)))

I had a bit of fun with texture paste this month... in fact you'll see a little bit more texture paste from me throughout the month.  It's so fun!!  And, for the first time in almost 13 years, I scrapped a wedding photo!!  I don't know why it has taken me this long.  I think it's because I always envisaged scrapping a big wedding album and it just seemed like such a huge job, so it was always on the back burner.  Well, once I started, I just couldn't stop!!  lol.  Sorry in advance for the flood of wedding photos you will see this month!  :)

We were also lucky enough to have a sketch put together by the amazing talent Louise Nelson... so come on over and check it out.  Here is what i put together:

{when}

and Lou's sketch:

Can you believe I resisted the urge to shove everything into a corner or the edge of the page and actually scrapped in the middle of the layout?!! hehe

Of course it's KIU's turn for a new challenge too.  The June challenge is asking you to use 3 or more photos in a sequence of events and to use journaling to explain the story.... on kraft.  I had been wanting to use these photos of Cooper playing with his new bubble maker on Christmas Day last year.  It makes enormous bubbles and he played with it for hours.  This was just the perfect brief for these shots:

{boy + bubbles}

I hope Blogger is going to behave itself soon... i have been trying to leave a bit of love here and there, with limited success.  This month I will be busy working away on a really huge and exciting project.... excited, thrilled and terrified all at the same time!! hehe ... can't wait to share some of the details with you next month.

It's pretty cool in these parts atm and the virus that Lachy picked up has subsequently flattened the entire family!! Yep, all six of us are miserable with temps, headaches, snotty noses and a horrible cough.  The kitchen bench is starting to resemble a pharmacy shelf and, a visit to the Dr with Lachy yesterday, saw me adding to the stash with ventolin and antibiotics, as his has now developed into bronchitus {sigh} So, to top it all off just nicely, there is no sleep happening either!

Hugs to you lovely ladies and hope you are all well,

jules

Love these Jules and for some reason, I think they are really different for you! They are still YOU but just something is different.
And love the wedding LO. I agree. It is hard to scrap wedding but you have done it beautifully.
